Dr Joseph Madu

B.Pharm, Pharm.D,  FPCPharm MCPAN, MPSN.  Holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Nigeria, a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the great University of Benin, Benin City Nigeria and is a fellow of the West African Postgraduate College Of Pharmacists (WAPCP). He is an alumnus of Government College Kaduna Nigeria & former member,  Nigeria Military Cadet Unit of Government College Kaduna.

Dr. Madu has been a preceptor to residency students of the WAPCP and a Community Pharmacist for several years. His work experience includes stints with General Hospital Kaduna,  Arewa Pharmaceutical Industries Kaduna and several Community Pharmacies including OSBUD Pharmacy Kaduna and Pax Pharmaceuticals Onitsha.

Amongst others he has certifications in BASIC LIFE SUPPORT & CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION, and Pharmaceutical care of HIV/AIDS patients from the Howard University global HIV/ AIDS Initiative in Nigeria (HUGIN).

He is a former state Public Relations Officer(PRO) of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) Rivers State Branch, former State PRO of NAGPP now ACPN (Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigerian) Rivers State Branch, former National Assistant Secretary at ACPN and former Pharmaceutical Inspector with the Pharmacists council of Nigeria (PCN).

Dr Madu is the current  Secretary of the PSN National Research, Documentation and Industrial Liaison Committee. He is also a recipient of the Merit Award of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).

He is currently the Managing  Director of CEDITH Pharmaceuticals & CEDITH Clinical Pharmacy in Portharcourt, Nigeria.

A Prolific writer and blogger on cedithhealth.blogspot.com he has co-authored some textbooks, published numerous articles on both local and National newspapers, magazines as well as Journals such as the Nigerian Journal of Pharmacy. He is a regular speaker on both local and National television and Radio.

Dr Nwamaka Patricia Cookey-Gam

B.Pharm, Pharm.D , FPCPharm, MAW, MPSN; holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy, Fellowship from the West Africa Post Graduate College of Pharmacists (WAPCP), Masters in Clinical Pharmacy in View and is a member Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).

A Canadian citizen by birth, Dr Cookey-Gam has been a Hospital Pharmacist for 26 years during which she has mentored and tutored over 60 final year Clinical Pharmacy students at the University of Portharcourt Teaching Hospital (UPTH), 10 fellowship students of the West Africa Post Graduate College of Pharmacists and 6 Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D) conversion students.

Dr. Patricia’s innovative clinical practice at UPTH ensured the introduction of Sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine as part of malaria prophylaxis and treatment in the Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department of UPTH. She is a key person responsible for the establishment of the in – patient Pharmacy and Ward Clinical Pharmacy Services (WCPS) at UPTH.

Dr. Patricia specialises in Obstetrics and Gynaecology Pharmaceutical care and is currently a Deputy Director, Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the University of PortHarcourt Teaching Hospital.

She is a former state Vice Chairman Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPS), former national Asst.Public Relations Officer ALPS and former State Sectetary ALPS.

Dr Cookey-Gam is currently the national Public Relations Officer (PRO)  Society for the Study of Pain Nigeria (SSPN), member PSN- Rivers AKI Research Committee, member PSN  Practice Based Research Group and a Merit Award Winner (MAW) from Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPS)

She has participated in national/international conferences of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) and has attended courses in Leadership and Management in Health and Clinical Management of HIV/AIDS offered by the University of Washington.

Dr Tricia is a sticker for orderliness and is committed to ensuring CPAN becomes the pinnacle of the profession in Nigeria and beyond.

Dr (Mrs) Olu-Lawal Moteehat Olubukola

B. Pharm MPH,  FPCPharm, MPSN –  holds a B.pharm from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Master of Public Health (MPH) from Obafemi Awolowo University, a Fellowship from the West Africa Postgraduate College of Pharmacists (FPCPharm) and a PharmD from the University of Benin. she is a member Pharmaceutical society of Nigeria (PSN). She specialises in Pharmacoepidemiology.

Dr. (Mrs) Olu-Lawal started her career at the State House Clinic, Abuja where she did her internship and National Youth Service. She joined the service of Osun State Government in 2004 and is currently an Assistant Director, Pharmacy. She is also MD/CEO Olbee Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Dr (Mrs) Olu-Lawal is a former Treasurer, former Financial Secretary and former Editor-in-Chief of Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria (AHAPN) Osun State, and is currently the Secretary of Osun State branch of Association of Lady Pharmacists (ALPS). She is a writer with several published articles, a columnist for over two decades and still counting and is passionate about women and girls’ issues.

Dr Agbenin Andrew

B.Pharm, PharmD, MPH, ASUMiniMaster Program (Logistics & SCM), MPCPharm -holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy,  Doctor of Pharmacy, Masters in Public Health, is a member of the West Africa Post graduate College of Pharmacists and is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).

He has had extensive experience in pharmaceutical care in Clinical settings such as Hospitals and medical centers. Such experience has included the assessment of over 200 diabetic, Cardiovascular and renal patient charts while making key interventions in the areas of dosing, IV-to-PO switching, antibiotic streamlining and medication regimen optimization. He is an adept researcher and has aided resolution of multiple drug therapy problems regarding diabetic, cardiovascular and renal patients at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar.

Dr.  Agbeyin has a passion and Committment to providing quality pharmaceutical care as an essential link in disease management.


TREASURER


Dr. Obiajuru Wayemeru

B. Pharm, Pharm. D, MPSN, MCPAN, holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Pharmacy. and a Member Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). She has had over 10 years of extensive experience in multisectoral pharmacy practice especially in the private sector as a community Pharmacist with Sofo Pharmacy in 2011,  as a product representative with Pfizer Specialties Ltd (2012-2015) and as community Pharmacist at Li’lprit Pharmacy since 2015 till date.

Between 2018 and 2019 she acquired certifications Pharmaceutical care of HIV/AIDS patients from the Howard University Global HIV/ AIDS Initiative in Nigeria (HUGIN). and Family Planning Options and Techniques:

Dr. Wayemeru served as a Zonal Secretary for the Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria (ACPN) Rumuigbo Port-Harcourt between 2017 and 2019. She is an experienced Community Pharmaceutical care provider, Passionate Clinical Pharmacist and Lover of Right patient care through Pharmaceutical care interventions.


PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER (PRO)


Dr AdebamboAkinbile

B.Pharm. MPH,  PharmD,  FPCPharm. MPSN,  – is a Public health and Clinical Pharmacist with over twenty five years experience. He holds a B.Pharm Degree and Masters in Public health from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, a PharmD Degree from University of Benin, is  a fellow of the West African Postgraduate college of Pharmacists and a member Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN).

In the past twenty years Dr Adebambo has served in various portfolios with the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria as Publicity Secretary, Secretary and Chairman of the body in Osun State. He features regularly on public enlightenment programmes on both radio and TV stations. He is a board member at the OAU International School Ile-Ife and currently an Assistant Director of Pharmaceutical services Pharmacy unit Health Centre OAU ILE IFE.
